Regarding to the engine, SPD jet ski use professional jet ski engine based on YAMAHA watercraft technology, which makes it definitely different from other modified car-engine and defines it with evident advantages. Compared to cars racing on road, jet ski is working under more critical conditions: more water drag, smaller space for install engine, sea water corrosion etc. Without gearbox means the jet ski's impeller needs to be driven directly from engine, which requires much higher rotate speed than that of cars. Thus the jet ski professional watercraft engine must be designed can reach much higher speed than car engines. Common car engines, like Suzuki, their rotate speed is only 4000 r/min, but jet ski really need 6000 r/min to keep a normal speed. It does not mean jet ski with modified car-engine can not reach higher speed, they can run over the basic speed but problems will be frequently occurred cause the early aging of both engine and parts. Watercraft engine can easily avoid all these problems. Also the anti-corrosion performance of SPD engine is much more outstanding. As we all understand that car engine's design never considers the sea water corrosion problems, even with top experts to modify it, they can't solve the problem, because there is no room designed for it. The cooling water runs around the engine inner wall, without any protection, the cooling water running room can easily get corroded and become smaller, thus the cooling effect is greatly undermined. Cooling effect is very essential because overheating can easily cause failure and early aging. The SPD engine is designed with anodic protection which can easily solve corrosion problems, eliminate failures and guarantee engine's working life.
For accessories: key parts like piston ring, computer chip, impelling system etc are all high-end imported items, hull, hood, handle, oil tank etc are all developed by ourselves, thus the impelling effectiveness can reach 90% of Yamaha but the maintenance cost can be controlled to 1/3 of Yamaha.
